Guanacaste Nights at Las Catalinas is back for a second season! Transforming the serene Las Catalinas coast into an energized gastronomic extravaganza, the two-day event will feature six chefs daily, each with a unique take on Costa Rican cuisine, as they work together to bring the colorful ingredients of Guanacaste to life. This year’s culinary dream team includes Chef Ryan Hardy, Chef Jose Lopez, Chef Saul Umaña, Chef Gilberto Briceño, Chef Monica Phillips, Chef Jaak  Toomsalu and Chef Demian Geneau.

The festivities kick off on Friday, February 21 at Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas’ signature Sentido Norte restaurant with sunset cocktails by the pool, hors d’oeuvres prepared by Sous Chef Warner Ortega, signature Guanacaste Nights cocktails prepared by Sentido Norte mixologist, Liz Furlong, and a live DJ playing sunset beats. The event continues with a 5-course sit down dinner, with each dish prepared by a different chef and accompanied by live music. Reservations are required and will start at $180 USD and $210 USD with wine pairing.

The Costa Rican inspired food fest continues Saturday, February 22 at the Plaza Danta in the heart of Las Catalinas. Culinary enthusiasts from near and far will have another opportunity to taste Guanacaste-inspired dishes by each chef along with live music and entertainment to keep the festivities going. Each chef will serve bite-sized appetizers based on the tastes of their Guanacaste-inspired dishes. Tickets start at $65 USD per person.

Culinary and Guanacaste enthusiasts are invited to enjoy fantastic food and pairings, live music, beautiful scenery, and the company of friends in a memorable celebration of local flavor that should not be missed.
